The Professional Services Coordinator role is at a professional medical association which is the UK professional home for medical leadership. Its primary objective is to raise the standard of patient care by improving medical leadership.
**About the role**
The successful Professional Services Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of several key business services. This is a pivotal role in growing the professional association's reputation as a standard-setting and awarding body and contributessignificantly to the organisations professionalisation agenda.
The successful Professional Services Coordinator is expected to be responsible for end-to-end coordination of three key services: Re-validation and Appraisal; Fellowship; CPD and Accreditation
**Job description**:
Membership
- Act as the primary point of contact for members, prospective members, and fellows, responding promptly to enquiries.
- Responsible for the coordination of assessment panels as well as providing secretariat support to assessment meetings. Maintain an accurate record of meeting discussions and outcomes.
CPD and Accreditation
- Act as the primary point of contact for interested applicants/organisations seeking accreditation and/or CPD.
- Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities with providers of educational content.
Revalidation and Appraisal
- Act as the primary point of contact for Connected Doctors and Appraisers, responding promptly to enquiries and processing requests for connection.
- Monitor and arrange appraisals in line with an annual schedule.
**Person Specifications**:
The successful Professional Services Coordinator must have;
- Extensive experience in a senior administrator/coordination or junior project management role.
- Experience working in either the NHS or a healthcare-related organisation or educational/academic institution or training organisation, or membership organisation
- Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office, databases, or content management systems
- Experience in financial administration support, and/or monitoring budgets and financial records.
- The ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals at all levels and adjust communication styles to suit the audience
