Caretaker - Student Accommodation

**Hours**: 20 hours per week, with shifts between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00
**Salary**: £12.60 per hour
**C**ontract End Date**:14th September 2025
Are you someone who prides themselves on ensuring an environment is not only safe, but the best it can possibly be? Our Caretakers are just that: individuals who take care of our buildings, providing not only safe spaces for our residents and team members, but also going over and above to keep our buildings well-maintained and looking fantastic.
We're looking for a temporary summer support worker to be responsible for checking rooms, check out inspections, emptying student flats, and also completing compliance checks such as water flushing in vacant rooms.
This role is heavily repetitive, with a lot of time spent being lone working within the building.

- We never walk past a problem and you will take pride in the day-to-day upkeep of the property, with a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail and a respectful approach that comes with working in someones home.
**DO**
- Adopt a consistent and unrelenting approach to ensuring that your property is safe, through accurate and detailed compliance checks and swift reporting of non-compliance.
- Have a keen eye for anything that needs repairing or replacing, from painting to putting up shelves, unblocking drains to stopping leaks.
- Youll be happy to get your hands dirty by completing room checks and supporting the summer turnaround of the building.

- Summer turnaround: This is when our residents leave us and its the busiest time in our calendar. It can involve clearing out residents rooms, supporting with higher than usual levels of maintenance, and just generally helping out.
