As an Analyst in the team, you are expected to have a rudimentary product and industry knowledge, be familiar with core investment financial concepts and be capable of carrying-out delegated tasks from senior AAG team members for certain transactions (e.g.data cleaning and analysis, due-diligence review, empirical servicer performance review). Analysts are also expected to be able to translate, implement and model valuation assumptions as well as demonstrate an ability to handle and manipulate portfolio datawith limited supervision from senior AAG team members.

The role will report to Head of Alternative Assets and work closely with the entire AAG team

**Location for this position:**

We are currently seeking an Analyst for positions in either Riga, Madrid, Zug (Switzerland), or Reigate (UK).

We do not offer relocation support or work permit sponsorship.

**Your key responsibility will be**
- Review/prepare/clean seller-provided data that will be loaded into our proprietary valuation models principally using MS Excel and R data tools
- Prepare/review assumptions for valuation models and analyse empirical data (internal or external) that will be translated into key underwriting assumptions
- Review and interpret model outputs
- Use your analytical skills to transform the data into business insights and present them to key decision makers
- Assist in preparation and presentation of investment opportunities to internal investment committees

**Your qualifications**

**We think you have**
- BSc or MSc in Economics / Business / Finance / Mathematics or related area
- Understanding of how debt and real-estate related investments are valued including fundamental investment principles and metrics, due-diligence requirements, possible workout strategies, and key investment performance drivers
- Ability to learn and understand nuances in real estate and general investment markets from one country to another
- Strong knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Existing proficiency or ability to learn data management and statistical data manipulation tools and to build valuation models using MS Excel and proprietary modelling tools
- Comfort working in a distributed, cross-border work environment
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, other European languages are a plus
