The Middle Office Team is a work-stream within WTW Operations and is responsible for the implementation and administration of cash and post-trade management for a range of delegated pension fund clients as well as for our internal TWIM funds.
The Middle Office Team deals with a variety of different activities including the day-to-day management of custody relationships, processing of SWIFT payments, foreign exchange/liquidity fund transactions, credit facility re-allocations, trade confirmations,client reporting and reconciliations across a range of different asset classes.
Middle Office look to maintain the Investment book of records (IBOR) and accurate cash forecasting in our front-to-back system, allowing trade/portfolio management groups to effectively place market trades.
The team encourage collaboration, career progression and flexibility in working patterns and support relevant further study if desired.
**The Role**:

- Opportunity to learn from an experienced team, focusing on areas mentioned in the role summary above.
- Cash Forecasting for full suite of TWIM/Pension Funds, including credit facility management, foreign exchange, liquidity fund instructions.
- Trade confirmation with various managers, to maintain WTW Investment book of records.
- Maintain and build relationships with custodians and internal departments/stakeholders.
- Learn about the various asset classes and the underlying structure of our clients’ accounts.
- Manage risk areas within the team appropriately, recognizing where procedures need updating/challenging. Knowing when to escalate.
- Adhere to our Work Excellence principles to ensure that cash management activity is completed in a manner that adds value to our clients.

**The Requirements**:

- Good communicator, pro-active, self-starter with keen eye for detail and ability to multi-task.
- Previous experience within an Investment Management or Third Party supplier Operations environment.
- Quick learner that can work well in a team as well as on their own.
- Experience in an operational environment and knowledge of Middle Office functions as per job description
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines and manage workloads under pressure
