The Investment Portfolio Compliance (IPC) Surveillance team is part of the Global Legal & Compliance department. This team ensures that regulatory, client and internal investment restrictions for European retail and institutional funds are compliant. IPC considers itself partners to Portfolio Management, Client Services and Product teams to achieve excellence across the entire Investment Compliance process chain.

**What you will do**

You will support the team in its daily business and project works. This comprises:

- Supporting the investment guideline surveillance team in designated Jurisdictions by assessing guideline alerts
- Taking ownership and responsibility of daily BAU
- Liaise with stakeholders (including Portfolio managers) to conclude alerts and accurately record instances
- Performing quality control checks for the surveillance team
- Engage with all relevant departments to assess alerts and suggest a way forward to reduce and minimise the number of active breaches

**What you bring**
- You are reliable, precise, analytic, and service-oriented
- Demonstrated knowledge in financial instruments
- Have minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Financial Services
- Have a Finance or Legal academic background
- Have good knowledge of MS Office tools, in particular MS Excel
- Keen to develop and expand your skill and knowledge base
- You are fluent in spoken and written English (German or French also preferred)
- You are motivated, can work without close supervision and have self-starting capabilities
- Demonstrated initiative to take on new challenges and projects to manage change or implement improvements
