**Job Description**:
Job title: Quality Controller
Location: Pershore
Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:45 - 17:00 (13:00 on Friday)
Contract: Temporary - Permanent
Pay: £11.75 - £14.00 per hour
An Engineering company based in Pershore are searching for a Quality Controller to join their team on a temporary - permanent basis working Monday - Friday 07:45 - 17:00 with a 13:00 finish on Fridays. The company themselves are a well-known company who offer their services to a range of UK and International clients.
As a Quality Controller you will be responsible for:
Ensuring quality check procedures are followed at every stage of production
Documenting any quality issues and creating a system for recording such documentation
Creating procedure checklists and coordinating with other Inspectors
Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance
Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures
Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards
Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements
Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager
As a Quality Controller you will be required to:
Have previous experience working as a Quality Inspector will be essential.
The ability to analyse the quality and performance of a product
An understanding of industry safety standards
The ability to work well with others
The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Flexibility and openness to change
An understanding of the software utilised in the industry
Excellent verbal communication skills
Thorough attention to detail
