Quality Control Manager

We're looking for a Quality Control Manager in Herefordshire to lead the quality function and ensure all products meet the highest possible standards with an engineering manufacturer supplying high-performance technology to customers in the UK and overseas. As a Quality Control Manager you will take ownership of all aspects of product and process quality. You'll maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), lead a small and capable team, and work closely with both suppliers and customers to ensure issues are quickly identified, resolved, and prevented. What You'll Do Manage and develop the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System Lead and mentor a small quality team, promoting high standards and engagement Plan and oversee internal and external audits Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Oversee inspection processes for materials and finished products Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain strong quality relationships Support compliance with other standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 Champion continuous improvement and a strong quality culture across the business What We're Looking For Right to work in the UK (NATO nationality required) Eligible for BPSS clearance (with potential for SC clearance) Minimum 10 years' experience in quality management within electronics or a similar manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and related standards Skilled in root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, and 8D problem-solving Excellent communication and leadership skills Hands-on experience coaching production teams in soldering or rework (advantageous) Proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement Full UK driving licence If you are interested in the Quality Control Manager in Herefordshire, apply today #J-18808-Ljbffr
