I am currently looking for an Office Manager to work for a fun vibrant team in South Bristol Office hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 5.30pm. Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience Free parking so no worries where to park each day Interviews happening ASAP This is a 12-month contract initially, with the potential of a more permanent role going forwards. This is a great opportunity to take on a varied role, incorporating finance, HR & administration, and providing support across all functions of the business. Main Duties - Raising sales invoices & ensuring payments are received according to payment terms. - Processing purchase invoices and weekly supplier payment runs. - Providing cashflow updates to Directors, making them aware of any potential shortfalls or concerns. - Compiling overtime and payroll figures to send to external payroll administrator and payments to staff. - Bank reconciliations. - Processing credit card receipts & petty cash expenses. - Assisting with quarterly VAT Returns. - Overseeing the running and maintenance of the office & warehouse: organising inspections & repairs as required. - Dealing with any recruitment or HR issues that may arise, to include appraisals, pay reviews & disciplinaries. - Recording & approving staff holiday, sickness, and time in lieu. - Providing administration support to company Directors as required. - General admin duties such as answering the phones, dealing with the post, greeting visitors, and updating company records. Skills Required " Previous accounting & administration experience and have knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software. " Excellent communications skills, " Strong work ethic and a sense of humour, who will fit in with the small team. " The ability to calmly prioritise and juggle several tasks at once is essential.
