Credit Controller

**Credit Controller - Maidenhead - £28k per annum + Benefits** As a Credit Controller you will work alongside our experienced finance team and having a variety of tasks including: **Key Accountabilities** - Ensure the full debt collection process is smooth, accurate and timely, and that bad debt is suitably managed. - Daily chasing for payment on telephone (high invoice and customer volumes) - Participate in regular debt review meetings with Operations and Account Managers to ensure they are active in supporting the collection of funds. - Maximize cash collection through the effective collection of debts - motivated to achieve month end cash targets. - Logging customer queries through our in-house built ERP for the wider business to resolve - Understand and collate the reasons why it has occurred and implement a suitable solution to solve the problem and stop its reoccurrence. - Putting customers on / off stop - Must use their knowledge and experience to quickly resolve queries. - They assist with and embrace system and process changes. - Ad hoc tasks as required. **Skills And Experience** - 5+ years credit control experience in a B2B environment is essential. - Experience of high volumes and managing several hundred customers - Demonstratable experience in reducing DSO and achieving cash collection targets. - Sage 50 - Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - Organized and results orientated. - Good problem-solving skills and an ability to deal with some ambiguity. - Work closely as a team but are equally able to work effectively and proactively on their own. - Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. - Attention to detail with a 'can do' attitude. - Have good Microsoft skills. **What We Can Offer You** - Rewards:_ Excellent benefits: 28 days holidays (plus bank holidays), Life Cover, Health Plan and Pension Plan and discretionary bonus - Work:_ Fulfil your career aspirations and get that work life balance, remote working available - Organisation:_ We’re at the leading edge of our field - achieving year on year growth and forecast to double in size in the next few years - Opportunity:_ On joining MCFT you will be part of a great team which truly invests and values people and can provide you with the challenge and environment to reach your potential **Our Company** MCFT, established in 1992, provides commercial kitchen maintenance for high-end customers in the UK and the Middle East; we joke that we won’t work with customers unless we’ve heard of them - and it’s mostly true.
