**We are looking for a pro-active, motivated and experienced housekeeper for a busy private home based in West Byfleet.**

The housekeeper will be responsible for all aspects of running a busy household, the family employ a cleaner who does a deep clean once a week so this role is more orientated to the upkeep/ tidying/ organisation etc.. within the home

The housekeepers general duties will include (but not limited to)
- Ad-hoc cleaning & daily tidying
- Ironing
- Put away food shops if home delivered
- Putting away child's washing
- hanging out washes/ taking down/ folding etc..
- Assist with filing of paperwork/ General PA duties
- Managing of overall maintenance of the home E.G gardener, window cleaner
- Keeping note of any minor repairs that need doing, and source handyman/ tradesman etc.. for the task.
- Walking the dog as and when needed (this will not be too often)
- Batch cooking meals for lunch/ dinners
- Assisting with after meal time clean ups/ dinner time (if falls within working schedule)

The family are looking for a housekeeper who has a passion for organisation, and can be a self starter who can manage their own schedule. As the family have very busy schedules, they would like the housekeeper to take control of keeping the house running with food shops/ food prep etc.. for both the child and parents. The housekeeper will become a part of a lovely family unit and a long term commitment is essential.

A driver is essential, as the housekeeper will be required to run errands like dry cleaning/ post office runs/ food shops etc.. which all require the use of a car.

The family are based in **West Byfleet.**

The hours/ days for this role are ideally 5 days between Mon-Sat but the family will also consider a housekeeper who doesn't want to do the Saturday. The family can be flexible with any 4 days from Mon-Fri. The hours will be 4 hours per day, but the schedule as to the hours is flex E.G 8AM-12PM one day/ afternoons the next etc.. to fit the housekeepers schedule.

Previous housekeeping experience in a private home is essential for this role, as well as 2 glowing references from private housekeeping positions.

Flex on start date but ideally sooner rather than later.

Salary circa £16-£18 Gross PHR dependent on experience.
