Contract Collateral Management Technical Analyst
International Banking Group - 3 Month Contract initially
PAYE Umbrella: £500-550pd + 17.3% PAYE Uplift
WFH / London Office split TBC
As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we are assisting in the hire of a contract Collateral Management Technical Analyst within the Settlements, Collateral and Controls area of one of the world'slargest banks.
Responsibilities include:
*Act as the Regulatory Reporting SME to the Reg Reporting Small Change Team, providing analysis and determining requirements to resolve the issues raised to the team.
*Supporting the business and business analysts to understand and document current issues and inefficiencies in the OTC derivative, repo and MBS collateral management process.
*Design technical solutions to resolve business issues that are within the capabilities of the TLM Collateral Management System.
*Upgrading TLM Collateral Management to a later version:
*Configuring all individual software modules
*Upgrading the various databases
*Setup and configuration of IIS websites
*Ownership of executing full UAT & regression testing of the system post upgrade including downstream feeds and outputs.
Skills needed (not all essential):
*An understanding of collateral management obligations including variation margin, initial margin.
*Product knowledge of OTC derivatives, repo and SBL.
*Experience configuring IIS websites and authentication.
*Strong SQL knowledge including the creation of stored procedures.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Experience with XML and MQ messaging.
*Ability and experience of working under pressure - both autonomously and within a team.
*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is Inside IR35, and you will need to contract via an Umbrella company on PAYE. The day rate on offer is £500-550 + 17.3% Uplift p/d (. The uplift covers Employer's NI (13.8%), Pension (3%) and the Apprenticeship Levy(0.5%) so that these are not deducted from your day rate.
