**Responsibilities**
- Support the administration of the JIC alongside the JIC Manager. This will include issuing calling notices, supporting the preparation of committee papers, coordinating attendance and logistics, liaising with JIC members’ Private Offices across Whitehall and the intelligence agencies, and building strong relationships with JIC coordinators across government.
- Provide diary and logístical support to Directors as needed, working with the Private Secretary and wider Private Office team to support cross-JIO processes and supporting senior international engagement and travel.
- Coordinate logístical arrangements for meetings, including booking meeting rooms, arranging hospitality and escorting senior visitors, as well as supporting inbound and outbound visits by international delegations, HMG personnel and other key stakeholders, logistics for briefing sessions and cross-cutting JIO events.
- Prepare day packs, ensuring briefings and papers are printed for upcoming meetings.
- Provide wider support to the JIC Chair (a Permanent Secretary-level role, Head of the Joint Intelligence Organisation and the Prime Minister’s adviser on substantive intelligence matters).
- Provide support and resilience across other portfolios in JIO Private Office.

**Person specification**:
