Technical Stores Operative

To carry out the duties of a Technical Stores Person within logistics in support of the businesses flying operations and projects
Maintaining the integrity of stock and stock systems (SAP/MJDI) ensuring correct identification, classification and traceability to meet demanding civil and Military Aerospace Standards
**Goods Receipt**: Unpacking goods and booking them in from internal and external sources, insuring conformity to Purchase Orders and rejecting all non-compliant items.
**Storage**: Ensure that all goods are stored in a controlled, compliant manner and remain fit for purpose
Preserving stock separation and segregation adhering to the Control of Substances hazardous to Health)and maintaining up-to-date hazard data sheets
**Despatch**: Packing and loading of goods for despatch including dangerous goods by land & air to meet current legislation for transportation.
**Picking packing, issuing and delivery**: of parts to meet customer deadlines
Driving a fork lift, unloading and loading vehicles
Ensuring warehousing facilities and aircraft/engineering stores are maintained to the highest standards including those to meet EASA and/or MRP Part 145 (MOE) (as required)
Escorting personnel into and out of site when taking delivery/issues of stores
Responsible for the receipt & delivery of internal aircraft AOG states within 1 hour.
**Experience/Qualifications**:
IT literate
Able to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and all its functions
Driving Licence
An understanding of MoD systems and part identification (desirable but not essential)
