Portsmouth High School, situated in the heart of Southsea, is currently seeking a motivated and responsible individual to join our team on an ad hoc basis. You will play an important role in creating a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, teachers and staff. No two days are the same: from driving a minibus and maintaining facilities to setting up for events and securing the site, you’ll enjoy a varied and dynamic workload that keeps you engaged and challenged.

**Hours**:Zero hours with some guaranteed work

**Salary**:GDST Regional Support Grade 2 (£13.56 ph increasing to £13.93 ph from Sep 2025)

Facilities Support Assistants work shifts to provide cover from unlock at 06:30 to lock-up at around 22:00, Monday to Friday; the routine shift pattern rotates across 06:30 - 14:30, 09:30 - 18:00 and approx. 14:30 until lock-up. Some weekend work will also be offered.
