**Employment Engagement Consultant**
Covering North Essex - Chelmsford, Colchester, Clacton, Harwick
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary is £28,373 to £33,627 per annum (dependent upon experience)
25 days holiday + stats with option to purchase additional annual leave.
3.5 days paid annual leave for Christmas.
2 days paid per annum for volunteering work.

**Duties**
- This is an important role, in which you will use your commercial engagement, sales and recruitment skills, knowledge and experience to identify, engage with local employers to generate long term relationships and match to employer needs
- Working closely with employers and internal delivery staff
- Understanding and taking positive steps towards social inclusion, barriers faced by long term unemployed, disabilities
- Working to KPI targets
- Engage with employers to create and match the needs of the participant seeking work
- Travel to the client premises to support employers and the employees
- Managing own diary
- A genuine passion to persuade employers to give employment and development opportunities to disabled people and those facing disadvantages.
- Set up and run employer engagement opportunities in the region.
- Maintain records
- Must be computer literate
- Attend internal meetings
**Experience required**
- Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
- Must have experience in the recruitment or sales sector
- Experience of engaging and gaining commitment from employers, local authorities, health service providers, voluntary sector
