As a frontline police officer you will be the face of the Constabulary supporting local communities, building relationships and combating crime. It is a vital role and one that makes a tangible difference to the communities in which we serve.

Don't have a degree? We have an entry route for you

Our Police Constable Apprenticeship programme (PCDA) is open for those without a degree and during your training you will work towards a degree whilst working as a police officer

IPLDP (Initial Police Learning and Development Programme)

This route is a traditional entry route into policing, This is a two-year training programme; it gives a blend of practical on-the-job experience and classroom-based learning.

Transferees and re-joiners - up to and including the rank of Superintendent.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £24,780.00-£41,130.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barrow-In-Furness: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
