**Based at**: The Rock Business Park, Washington, West Sussex, RH20 3GR

**Salary**: £22,000 - £25,000 pa

**Hours**: Mon to Fri - 8am to 4.30pm

Bytec Group provides design, manufacturing and maintenance services to customers in the Healthcare, Industrial and Military markets. In recent years we have focused on supplying mobile healthcare furniture and electronic equipment to hospitals and OEM’s worldwide and are a proud supplier of the NHS.

We are looking for an Electronic Assembler to join our friendly team here at Bytec on a full time basis. The role will predominantly consist of electro-mechanical assembly assisting the Production and Engineering team. You will be based at our newly refurbished facility in Washington, West Sussex approximately 15-20 min drive from Horsham and Worthing.

**Requirements**:

- Valid UK driving licence
- Educated to GCSE level with passes in English and Mathematics
- Previous experience and knowledge of electronics
- Soldering and wiring skills
- PCB component assembly experience
- Interest in electronics and mechanical engineering

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Electro-mechanical product assembly following engineering drawings, SOP’s and verbal instructions
- Modification of parts for production
- Identifying & reporting design or supplier quality issues
- Assist with picking and packing orders within the warehouse
- Assist with organising and maintaining warehouse and production rooms
- Assist with Inspection of goods received
- Continuous improvement projects as directed
- Possible on site maintenance tasks as and when required**Job Specification**

We are looking for a Production assembler to join our friendly team here at Bytec on a full time basis. The role will predominantly consist of Mechanical assembly using basic hand tools to assemble workstations, roll stands, mounting arms and battery systems.
You will be based at our newly refurbished facility in Washington, West Sussex approximately 15-20 min drive from Horsham and
Worthing.

**Requirements**:

- Valid UK driving licence
- Educated to GCSE level with passes in English and Mathematics
- Basic understanding of identifying and using hand tools
- Interest in mechanical engineering ideal
