What you will do
We have established a world-class reputation as a premier High Voltage Electronics manufacturer, and your contributions are vital. Our custom products are only as good as the quality materials we can source. As a critical member of the Global Procurement team,you will source and ensure delivery of high-end Electronics components used to fabricate custom High Voltage Electronics. You can expect to:

- Maintain price/value determination, product and/or service negotiations, terms, and conditions for multiple commodities globally
- Implement a procurement strategy for the owned commodities, addressing technology direction, supplier analysis, development and selection and pricing strategy
- Act as primary interface with suppliers for all relationship management, contract negotiation, establishing the business framework for transactions, performance reviews, business development and supplier awards programs
- Source all products and services, maintaining a continuity of supply, while delivering the lowest cost component or service solution
- Create plan and negotiate with vendors; contributing to a commodity strategy, and presentations / communication of consistent message to suppliers
- Manage the Global Commodity Negotiation process ensuring accurate forecasting, negotiating pricing, and making contract award determination
- Consolidate, tabulate, analyze and report on various commitment and performance metrics
- Provide cost analysis to senior management for use in make/buy decision making process
- Conducts relevant analysis on pricing, the market, suppliers, customers, competitors, contracts and long-term agreements.
- May support site Supply Chain Management (SCM) to manage critical shortage or supplier performance issues, including escalation within the supplier and recommendations for alternative source development. Manage related systems changes that have broad effecton execution of purchasing responsibilities.

What you need
- Five (5) or more years' experience in Commodity Management for high-end Electronics components (Semiconductor, Peripherals, High-Voltage)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or comparable analytical field.
- Competence with data analysis and reporting
- Solid understanding of global Electronics manufacturing supply chains
- Considerable experience with MS Office productivity tools
- Demonstrated experience sourcing for the following components:

- Capacitors/resistors
- Switches/relays
- Transformers
- Inductors
- Integrated Circuits
- Diodes
- Transistors
- Printed Circuit Boards (raw and assembled)
This position is remote-friendly, however some travel is required. Relocation is not offered for this role.
