The role Financial Controller being the number 2 in chain of command, comes withchallenge, excitement, and opportunity to "make the role your own" You'll need a hands-on approach to tackle your daily duties along with supporting the team around you as required. You are finance Your primary objectives will include but are not limited too: - Regular collaboration with the Exec Director and senior management team with the goal of continued growth of the business - Provide the necessary insight and analysis to produce a robust financial strategy which supports both local and group business objectives - Ensure financial health through effective management of capital budgets, debt, working capital position, IT / Finance systems, whilst ensuring stringent regulatory obligations are met - Regular duties will include but are not limited to: - Manage and report on the balance sheets ensuring the correct treatment is applied to capital requirements, debt, equity, additions, and disposals - Oversee the preparation of financial accounts ensuring these are presented accurately and on time with full supporting data - Oversee the preparation of the weekly / monthly financial reporting process and prepare accurate and timely board reports on areas such as capital development and management accounting To be truly successful in this role and ensure progression and longevity you'll display the following personal characteristics: - Ability to communicate and influence at all levels - Thrive / excel under pressure - Be an advocate for collaboration and the success that can be achieved through working together - Energetic and highly motivated, knowing that some days will be longer than others If you're interested, I'd gladly field your questions.
