?We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Systems Manager to join our team in Windsor, with flexible home working available
This role is to maintain and operate Centrica's core finance systems in support of finance processes and reporting cycles in a timely manner. You will provide systems support to the finance community and encourage the effective use of core finance systemsacross finance.
This is a great opportunity to participate in the delivery of change plan projects and continuous improvements and transition changes into the business.
**The Role**:
- Responsible for day to day maintenance and operation of core finance systems (SAP S4 HANA, BPC, AFO, SAC, MDGf, GRC and Blackline suite) in support of finance processes and reporting cycles in a timely manner, including system access. Systems covered willvary over time to ensure cover within the team and provide development opportunities.
- Provide systems support to the finance community and encourage the effective use of core finance systems across finance
- Responding to requests via Finance systems requests app; signpost resources to encourage self-service; help Finance teams navigate change processes
- Partnering with Finance teams to understand their system needs
- Developing resources and delivering teach-ins to address knowledge gaps across Finance, including the evolution of the super user network, in conjunction with the wider Finance Systems team
- Participate in delivery of project related activities with DTS and third parties (including data preparation, test plans, test scripts, testing, process changes including appropriate controls, role and access requirements, maintaining documentation, trainingdelivery, cutover checks)
- Impact assessment of proposed projects or continuous improvements on wider Finance processes; making recommendations regarding solutions to deliver stakeholder business requirements
- Ensure appropriate control mechanisms and standards are implemented alongside projects to support the day to day operation of processes post implementation (including error remediation as required)
- Ensure solutions delivered have appropriate DTS support and processes in place for operational finance use post implementation
- Collaborate to ensure that project and BAU priorities are understood and balanced across the team
**The Requirements**:
- Qualified Accountant
- Excellent knowledge and hands on experience of SAP S4 HANA (from both an operational and project implementation perspective)
- Ideally has hands on experience using one or more of the other core finance systems used within Centrica (BPC, SAC, AFO, MDGf, GRC, Blackline suite)
- Experience designing and delivering system-driven change for Finance
- Significant experience of working in a large scale organisation with complex system & process environments
- Collaborative working and communicating effectively across multiple stakeholder groups to achieve results
- Finance background - has performed finance roles
