**About the role**
**We're excited to be looking for a Quality Assurance Leader (EQA) to join our External Quality Assurance** **Team.**
**In this role you'll be responsible for**:
- Efficient delivery of team operations, ensuring adherence to internal processes, SLAs, and external regulations.
- Performance management of QA Officers including training, leadership, and coaching, in order to achieve effective and fair customer outcomes.
- Ensuring the completion of own and team workload through accurate, efficient resource planning, prioritization of workload, forecasting/resourcing, and recruitment.
- Identifing risks through reporting insights, root cause/trend analysis and implementation of remedial activity at a business and customer level.
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external customers through delivering technical expertise and industry knowledge.
- Supporting key stakeholders and colleagues with expert support and guidance in relation to Quality Assurance processes to support the development of new products and deliver service excellence both within NCFE and externally.
- Leading on engagement with the wider QA and ARA teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, manage and minimise risk, escalate potential breaches and Adverse Effects notification in a timely manner and identify potential improvements and efficiency opportunities.
- Leading on the operational delivery of wider QA strategy by collaborating with the wider team and leading on reviews, projects continuous improvement and developing, implementing and maintaining QA policies, regulations and procedures.
- Operational Leading for audits and 3rdparty visits, responsible for preparation, engagement and delivery of any required actions to ensure compliant outcomes.
- Ensuring QA operational activities within remit are delivered in line with policy, process and internal SLAs.

- Leading, coaching and motivating others in an operational team environment.
- Working in a regulated, Quality/Risk Assurance environment..
- Working with a variety of stakeholders at different levels and be confident negotiating and influencing others.
- Working to tight deadlines and used to working under pressure.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to confidently construct and deliver both written and verbal communications.
- Experience or knowledge of working in the education sector.
- Knowledge of external quality assurance or moderation processes
- Presenting findings in reports or group discussions (essential).

**This role requires hybrid working therefore you will need to be within traveling distance of Head Office to ensure you can work from the office twice a week.**
