We have an opening in our QA department in Newcastle for an experienced QA Officer to join our team. The role holder will have responsibility for elements of the site quality system or sub systems and also supporting supplier quality activities. You will follow existing policies, procedures and work instructions to plan and conduct tasks.

**Major Responsibilities**

Conduct tasks that support one or more areas of the quality system. May include tasks in the following areas:
**Quality Systems**
- Conduct tasks in support of NC, CAPA, SCAR’s, record management, document controls, training.
- Supports some activities relating to supplier quality
- With experience, will identify non-conformances and approve non-routine batch records.
- Support the organization, planning, hosting, and close-out of audits and supplier audits
- Collect and track quality system data and metrics for routine reporting, including Daily Management
- Other quality system tasks, as assigned

**Supplier quality**
- Support Senior Supplier QA Officer(s) on assigned tasks o Conduct tasks in support of supplier audits
- Collect and track supplier quality data and metrics for routine reporting, including Daily Management
- Support activities related to quality of incoming materials (IQC)
- No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members
- Ensure tasks are managed using the appropriate business processes, to meet objectives, timescales and budgets.
- To manage multiple stakeholders throughout the business to ensure they are informed and consulted as appropriate and stablish and maintain strong relationships with QA colleagues and wider QRA team.

**What we need you to have**
- Experience in a QA role preferably medical device or IVD
- A track record of achievement and an ability to ensure accountability to ensure business needs are met on a sustained and timely manner
- Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Strong, independent worker capable of operating in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Team player who works well with internal stakeholders to achieve results
