Within the Ocado Group sits Platform Implementation, whose mission is ‘to orchestrate the implementation of Ocado’s platforms globally’. This department focuses on the full programme management life cycle of the implementation of our highly automated, multi-million pound Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) - from pre-deal, through to the design, construction, installation, testing and ‘go-live.’ We have an exciting new opportunity for a People Partner to join the People Team, to provide a generalist service to Platform Implementation, in the UK.

Reporting to the Head of People Partnering (UK), you will focus on all aspects of the people agenda. You will partner with all management levels and provide a hands-on, operational end to end service. **Please note**: This is a full time position, currently working 2 days in the office (Hatfield), 3 days remote from home.

**What will you be doing?**
- Combining commercial focus with People expertise to improve organisational effectiveness
- Embedding people strategies with line managers which address immediate and long-term key business objectives
- Drive equality, inclusion and diversity as an integral part of the culture of the organisation
- Utilise employee data and trend analysis to lead, educate and work in partnership with line managers on people issues
- Work closely with key customers in a partnership capacity: train, coach and assist line managers to understand and effectively implement People policies, procedures and best practice.
- Provide HR support to management in high level disciplinary, grievance and appeal meetings; provide performance management expertise and assistance to ensure a high quality workforce who enhance brand reputation
- Interpret and advise on relevant current employment legislation
- Train and develop managers on people manager processes.
- Influence and embed key products from COE’s
- Provide pragmatic and professional expertise, be solutions focussed
- Manage all aspects of organisational design
- Attend and support meetings / live streams / team days with key customers and the People team.

**What we are looking for**

**Minimum**
- Proven background in People Partnering.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and all aspects of employee relations.
- Strong Commercial Awareness
- Confident decision maker who is able to work independently
- Proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Able to give and receive constructive feedback
- High level of integrity
- Ability to communicate effectively

**Preferred (in addition to minimum)**
- CIPD
- Understanding of financial budgeting process
