Senior Manager, People Analytics

** **Senior Manager, People Analytics | Hatfield | Hybrid (2 days office) | UK Remote working possible** ***About us**: ***About the role**: Working as part of a Leadership team consisting of People Partners with Recruitment responsibilities, you will lead the 5-person team that builds on the existing data warehouse and dashboards and design the future analytics roadmap for the people function. Through your close partnership with the Listening, Culture, Engagement and DEI team, as well as People Operations, Total Rewards, Finance and the broader Technology organisation, you will transform the way the People Team uses analytics ***You would be accountable for**: - Improving Ocado's people decisions through insight, dashboards and analysis that drives actions by business leaders & people partners - Building a trusted source of people data that combines information from current and legacy sources and provides it securely to internal & external partners - Setting a framework & roadmap for understand how the Ocado workforce is changing and where it should evolve to improve profit, revenue & cost structure ***We expect that would involve the following**: - Working closely with leaders in People Operations, Finance and Technology to clarify and maintain a clear operating model and flow of trusted data from Workday, Greenhouse and other people systems to critical business decisions inside / outside HR - Building capabilities within the People Analytics team and our People team partners around storytelling, establishing and interpreting predictive analytics and creating trusted & visible people data that maintains worker privacy - Setting a roadmap for using existing and new technology solutions that meet the evolving analytics requirements of the People leadership team and business leaders over a three-year horizon - Deploying your team, along with vendors and internal partners (e.g. Workday developers, Culture & Listening program managers), to deliver against the roadmap, while managing an intake of new requests and maintaining clear priorities & expectations with stakeholders. ***What we're looking for**: - Experience with working in the HRIS, People Analytics, Data Science, BI or related field - Experience leading teams of Data Engineers and Analysts - Experience with workforce data analysis, people metrics, and an understanding of people practices and processes - A track record of designing scalable data and visualization solutions with internal or external teams (Google BigQuery, Looker, Tableau etc) - The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations, as well as coach team members to develop these skills - Ability to interact and influence leadership and cross functional partners within and outside the People function, especially FInance and Technology teams/leaders - "Self-starter"; comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; strong sense of ownership and responsibility - Demonstrates strong attention to detail and emphasis on data integrity & privacy ***What do I get in return**: - Hybrid working model (2 days in the office) - Remote Working for the month of August and 50% of December - 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 days after 5 years service (plus optional holiday purchase) - Pension scheme (various options available including employer contribution matching up to 7%) - Private Medical Insurance - 22 weeks paid maternity leave and 6 weeks paid paternity leave (once relevant service requirements complete) - Train Ticket loan (interest-free) - Cycle to Work Scheme - Opportunity to participate in Share save and Buy as You Earn share schemes - Income Protection(can be up to 50% of salary for 3 years) and Life Assurance(3 x annual salary) - Free shuttle bus to and from Hatfield Train Station to the Hatfield offices
