**Our purpose**: MYTIME Young Carers is fighting to level the playing field for young carers. Young carers have been hidden in society for too long, with the vast majority juggling a huge amount of responsibility unsupported. At MYTIME, we recognise and celebrate the incredible young people who do so much to support those that they care for. We believe that young carers should have access to the support, the friendships, and the opportunities every child deserves.
**Job Overview**: MYTIME is a rapidly growing organisation with enormous ambition. We’re an incredibly close-knit team so culture fit is everything for us You will be working within our incredible MYTIME Programmes team to help plan and deliver opportunities for young carers to take a well-deserved break from their caring role. Our programmes are all about giving young carers the opportunities, friendship, and support they deserve. Your role will see you supporting our Level Up Programme, Making Memories Programme, Employability Programme, and our brand-new Young Carer Friendly Award. You will play an integral role in helping deliver each of these programmes and helping them work holistically to ensure that the young carers accessing them have all the support they need. The foundations of our culture are built on compassion, tenacity, collaboration, authenticity, and accountability, so you would need to be a great team player, be prepared to get stuck in and most importantly be exceptionally organised.
**Typical Day**:No two days will be the same in our MYTIME Programme team, but you’ll work closely with our Programme Managers and other operational staff in the MYTIME team to ensure we can offer young carers, their families, schools, and wider community groups the support they need. This role will include working with the different programmes to provide them with top quality administrative support including support with collecting and managing data, writing communications to various stakeholders, ordering resources, managing enquiries and inboxes, and sharing information across the programmes. You will need a ‘can do’ attitude, to be confident using a variety of different IT platforms, be willing to go the extra mile to support young carers and their families who may struggle to access support easily and be someone the team know they can count on for support.
**Responsibilities**:
Ensuring the meticulous recording and management of all data relating to events and participants on the MYTIME database (including personal data and financial information)
Liaising with the organisations MYTIME work with to help deliver our programmes - this will include local councils, other charities, activity providers, transport companies, schools etc
