ERSI Group are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full time basis at our factory in Loughborough. Initially you will be based at our factory in Ilkeston so need to be able to travel to both locations.
We are a global engineering company who is successful in winning new contracts with a great reputation. We are one of very few companies in the world who offer full services from supply, designing, manufacturing and the finished product.
Due to the environment, you will need to come from a similar industry such as
manufacturing, engineering or construction background.
**The role**
As our Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for all the banking and treasury operations.
In order to be successful for this position, you will be experienced in uploading payments to all relevant banking websites, high experience in reconciliation of bank statements with a number of accounts and supporting with treasury budgets.
You will need to be experienced in completing these tasks with minimum supervision so ideally experience in working in a standalone role or two-person team.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate their accounting experience, have a good knowledge with Excel and accounting software, however you must be proficient using SAP.
**Key duties will include but not limited to;**
- Reporting all relevant matters related to the banks
- Supporting and preparing when required, the treasury budget
- Managing all petty cash
- Supporting with planning and budgeting
- Banking, bookkeeping and record keeping
- Any additional tasks as required by senior management
**What you will get in return**
You will earn a salary of up to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
You will work Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
Other benefits are 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, auto enrolment in to the government pension scheme and onsite parking.
