We are a small but growing accountancy firm based in Sudbury, Suffolk and are looking for a local person to fill a new role that has arisen due to the growth of the business.
T-A Accounts Ltd, established in 2013, is made up of a small team with varied skills and specialisms. We pride ourselves on giving a relaxed but professional service to a wide range of client types and industries.
**The Role - Office Administrator/PA**
You will be working with the Director and Practice Manager to support us in delivering and maintaining our good reputation and end-to-end services as well as working closely with all team members in an ‘all round’ supporting role for the practice. As it is a new position within the company, you will have the opportunity to make it your own and bring your experience with you to identify any gaps or opportunities that you may see.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Client care, onboarding & communication - multitasking with many clients during any given day
- Team administration support
- Payroll
- Data entry
- Booking meetings
- Conduct research
- Maintain confidential records
- Coordinate and liaise with team members on projects and workflows
- Social media posts, basic promotions & marketing
- Creating and sending quotes
- Maintaining good relationships with suppliers
- Recruitment and HR assistance
- Experience in the following areas is a bonus _
- Bookkeeping
- HR Admin
**Is this you?**
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Office Admin/PA supporting role
- Have great attention to detail
- Are a proactive, self-starter
- Love to learn new skills
- Are organised and professional
- Are a natural problem solver
- Can multitask and keep to deadlines
- Have excellent planning skills
- Methodical in your way of working
We use various systems and software packages including Microsoft, BrightManager, QuickBooks, BrightPay, Xero, AutoEntry, VT and more. Please give examples of the software you have used and any training you have undergone on them.
Training will be provided from the team and from online learning modules, alongside ‘on the job’ learning from day one.
As this is a new role, we are offering the position on a Temp-Perm basis, initial 3-month fixed term contract.
£14-£15 per hour.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
