**The Opportunity**
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are looking to recruit an Assistant Product Manager to join a small independent family-owned business based near Abingdon.
This is a varied role where you will gain experience in all parts of the business with a majority of your day centred around product photography, but you will also be involved with marketing, stock management, administration, customer service, sales andother areas of general business.
- **Photography** - A big part of the role is to take detailed product photos for the company website and to post on other e-commerce sites such as eBay and Shopify
- **Marketing** - You will get the opportunity to support the marketing of the business such as social media channels, creating content for and helping to rebrand the company website, working closely with the business owner to update the socialmedia strategy and reach new markets
- **Administration** - Responsible for writing product listings and posting them on e-commerce sites and other general office administration
- **Customer service** - Interacting with customers over the telephone and through online platforms such as eBay, PayPal, Shopify and Royal Mail
- **Stock Management** - Using in-house databases to manage stock, put together orders to be shipped, organize and retrieve stock
- **Business** - Working closely with the management team to plan and implement new business strategy, regularly brainstorm and innovatively collaborate to meet the goals for the company
Whilst the successful Assistant Product Manager may not have comparable working experience, which isn’t an issue as all parts of the role can be taught, they must be a critical thinker who really LOVES learning and seeing the impact of their hard work.
