Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire (On-Site Working)
Salary: Up to £55,000 (depending on experience)

Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and support the set-up of a new production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality output, efficient production processes, and strong leadership of a growing production team.

My client is a business that Manufactures a range of Electrical & Electronic Products therefore a successful candidates will have knowledge and experience having worked in a similar/related business.

Responsibilities of the Role: 

Develop and organise detailed production schedules to meet project requirements.
Evaluate project demands and identify necessary resources for efficient delivery.
Prepare, negotiate, and agree on budgets and timelines in collaboration with project managers.
Ensure all health and safety standards and regulations are consistently upheld.
Establish and maintain robust quality control measures across all production activities.
Manage and oversee day-to-day production operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Adjust and re-negotiate schedules or deadlines when required to accommodate changes.
Select, order, and procure materials and components when needed.
Coordinate routine maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimise downtime.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with buyers and project managers as necessary.
Lead, supervise, and support junior production staff to ensure strong team performance.
