The Publishing, Audio & Direct Display team is a highly collaborative, honest, supportive and proactive team of people who believe in going the extra mile to deliver a job brilliantly done. The team is made up of over 20 hardworking and dedicated peoplewho are above all passionate about media and specifically, Publishing, Audio and Direct Digital.

Our clients range from large to small in terms of spend and we are able to provide each with the best solution they need for P, A & D. We have weekly meetings as a department and keep each other up to date with what’s going on, ensuring workloads are shared,discuss market trends and trading opportunities.

As the Account Director, you will be at the heart of this team conversing and learning from Group Account Directors and the Head of P&A with years of industry experience. You will be working on one of the key accounts for Spark Foundry. Your strong knowledgeof the retail landscape will be instrumental in your success in this role.

Your key responsibilities will include;
- Building strong, trusted relationships with key clients and supporting the Head of P&A to deliver outstanding work every time
- Build relationships with key senior media owners to understand their offering in detail and be able to objectively evaluate new players
- Negotiate with various media owners to drive added value opportunities for our clients
- Utilise your brilliant knowledge audit process, build a strong rapport with auditors and lead the team to ensure that all KPIs and any audit specifics are achieved
- Strive for strong quality output, market-leading delivery and innovative ideas across all briefs
- Supporting the management of a team of Managers/ Senior Execs and Execs

**Qualifications**

This role is for one of the key accounts for Spark Foundry and would benefit an ambitious individual who has the vision and skills to move the brands’ campaigns forward across the Publishing, Direct Display and Audio spaces. Innovation, regular test andlearn approaches and rapid turnarounds whilst ensuring brilliant basics are at the heart of everything are imperative to this role.

You will be very commercially astute and have extensive knowledge and know-how in planning and buying across; publishing, audio (inc their digital platforms) and direct digital. Being a confident negotiator and harbouring good relationships with partnersand auditors. Strong knowledge of the retail landscape is vitally important for this role.

You'll have great communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. and the ability to manage challenging conversations with diplomacy and tact. Close attention to detail, people management skills and a positive attitude are essential toyour success in the role.

Demonstrable confidence and understanding of working with high profile brands and have a track record of developing innovative work, with commercial acumen at the heart of everything you do.
