**McCarthy Stone one of the leading developers of retirement communities are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Lettings to join our team in Bournemouth.**

The Head of Lettings will play a pivotal role in overseeing the lettings strategy for our portfolio of retirement communities across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Lettings to lead our rentals team and drive the continued success of McCarthy Stone.

**Salary**: Competitive, plus performance related bonuses

**Hours**: 37.5 per week

**Location**: Bournemouth

**Key responsibilities for the Head of Lettings**:

- Play a role as a senior member of the management team of the Property Services Division
- Deputised for the Director as and when required.
- Build and lead a rental team based in Bournemouth Head Office
- Targeted drive to deliver valuations, property instructions and price reductions.
- Develop strong relationships both cross functionally within McCarthy Stone and with external stakeholder, including governing bodies i.e., ARLA, TPO, ARMA.
- Support the Company culture and values and the delivery of high levels of business performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure latest Legal Compliance is understood and communicated as applicable.
- Negotiate offers with Landlords and handle valuations and fees.
- Oversee the marketing for property details and go to market strategy.
- Full management of the external lettings portfolio.
- Introduce, set up, monitor, and report metrics, KPIs and SLAs to present to internal & external stakeholders.
- Draw up and deliver to the rental proposition’s strategy.
- Develop and promote the rentals division and work closely with Head of Resales to driver best business performance.

**Requirements for the Head of Lettings**:

- Degree educated
- ARLA qualification (desirable)
- Substantial experience relating to lettings across various platforms.
- The job holder will have had previous experience of managing a team/leading project with a demonstrable record of achievement of goals and targets.
- Experience of producing detailed, precise written briefs for management and third parties which has resulted in effective action.
- Effective budget management and control
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Conscientious and reliable.
- Resilient to change and embedding a high performing team culture,
- Able to rapidly forge effective and collaborative working relationship with others, both internal and external
- Show Tenacity and positivity in the face of adversity, shows passion, hunger, and a drive to deliver.
