Our client are a prestigious business services provider based in the Wirral, they are seeking an experience Payroll Assistant to join their supportive friendly team; Offering a full remote position, with requirement to the office 1-2 per month for team meetings.You will receive plenty of support via video interaction with full office based training if required.

As the Payroll Assistant you will be joining an established team, reporting into the payroll supervisor within a wider team of 4. **Description**
The key responsibilities of the payroll assistant will include:
- Assisting with payroll processing fora high volume of staff
- Review pension assessment ensuring starters, leavers and current staff are processed in accordance with the rules of the relevant scheme and in line with statutory legislation
- Collecting, calculating and inputting data
- Maintaining employee records
- Processing starters and leavers
- Payroll queries
- Calculating deductions, contractual changes and bonuses
- Annual preparation of P11D's
- Ad hoc support within the payroll department and wider accountancy team
**Profile**
The successful payroll assistant will have:
- Experience processing a high volume of payroll
- Exposure to Select HR systems highly advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work well independently or as part of a team
- Up to date legislation knowledge
- YOU MUST HAVE PAYROLL EXPERIENCE
