**Client Details**

My client are a thriving retail business who are showing no signs of slowing down any time soon They are looking for a strong Payroll officer to join them on an interim basis. Will amazing employee benefits and a head office space to die for this isn'tone to miss

**Description**
- Assisting with payroll processing for over 300 UK staff and 10 US staff
- Collecting, calculating and inputting data
- Keeping employee payroll data up to date
- Processing starters and leavers
- Responding to payroll queries
- Preparing monthly payroll reports
- Calculating deductions and contractual changes
- Checking tax codes have been applied correctly
- Ensure sick and holiday pay forms have been submitted correctly
- Adhoc support within the HR and Finance department
- Processing deductions and sending payroll information to HMRC
- Preparing and submitting P11Ds

**Profile**

The successful Payroll Officer will have:

- Experience in a similar role
- Understanding of tax and payroll law
- Detailed experience of working with large volumes of data
- Know what good looks like
- Proficiency in Sage Payroll (desirable)
- Able to effectively link between HR & Finance
- Excellent IT skills (primarily Excel)
- Adaptable to a fast moving and changing environment
- Able to implement best practice improvements to a fast-growing company
- Deadline driven with excellent time management and attention to detail
- Proactive and positive attitude
