Head of Digital Analytics

Forward Role are very excited to be working with a global power brand who are investing heavily in their digital and data capabilities. The team is expanding are looking for a Head of Digital Analytics to join the team.
This is a brand new and critical role for the business to bring a focus on on-site and performance analysis, and continue to enhance the customer insight analytics capabilities, bridging the gap between on and offline data. You will be making a huge impactin the business, leading a team, delivering insights and driving decision making through data.
**Role & responsibilities**:
- Lead and coach a team of analysts - directing the team to reach goals in line with the overall business objectives
- Continue to build the team of customer focused digital analysts, supporting them to work in a fast-paced environment
- Turn complex data In to actionable business decisions
- Work with the wider digital leaders to help define and drive the Digital strategy, managing the roadmap
- Collaborate with and support all marketing functions, understanding their business questions and delivering easily digestible and useful insights
- Work closely with the finance team to set budgets and targets for the marketing functions - monitor performance and measure the result
- Audit current analytics and data practices, and continuously strive to improve quality and efficiency and enhance self-serve capabilities
- Championing data throughout the business, driving user engagement and encourage the use of data to always be at the heart of decision making
- Building strong relationships across the business with a variety of stakeholders at all levels - understanding their needs and how the digital analytics team can support
- Communicate complex analytics and insight in an effective, compelling way to a non-technical audience and senior stakeholders
**Skills & experience**:
- Extensive experience in digital and customer analytics
- Experience working with Big Data sets
- Strong leader, with the ability to inspire your team, and experience developing high perfuming teams
- Strong commercial acumen with a big focus on the customer
- Working collaboratively with other teams
- Experience with Google Analytics and the wider Google Stack
- Hands on experience with SQL/R/Python
- Strong Excel skills
- Data visualisation experience using tools such as Power BI / Tableau / Data Studio
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation and testing roadmaps
