Product Specialist -Education Technology

£25,000 - £32,000 DOE

1 year FTC, high likelihood to go perm after 1 year

This is a great opportunity for someone join the world of publishing and become an expert, specialise in and champion their bespoke platform. Your role will be varied, and excellent communication skills is key

What you'll mainly do:

- Be the point of contact for active resolution of customer support issues
- Train customers in the use of the platform, online and in person (customer site)
- Work with customers to help define user needs - new processes, workflows and functionality - and discuss these findings with the development team
- Contribute to in house testing of the platform and learn about new features
- Promote customer retention by fielding after-sales queries, maintaining a good, proactive relationship with their customers.
- Develop and maintain platform Knowledge Base and user documentation
- Support the sales team, by effective engagement with potential customers, responding to technical queries and conducting platform demonstrations

Experience you'll ideally need:

- Experience in a customer facing role, whether that is customer support, training, Customer Success, Customer relationship, or similar
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously and at a fast pace
- Experience within a software house, SaaS would be highly beneficial
- Experience within Education/ Ed-tech/publishing also highly beneficial
- Occasional travel will be required as part of this role, travelling when necessary to offer on site support.

Whilst this is a 1 year fixed term role, at the rate the business is growing, there is likelihood that this will go permanent after 1 year, and there are also plenty internal opportunities for the right person ??

They have a lovely office just outside of Swindon, however you are welcome to work fully remote if you prefer.
