Games Tester

If you are selected for this role and impress the client with your work once you start, you could potentially continue to be offered shifts for this role on a regular basis. Due to the unpredictable nature of the client workload, shifts are offered with1-day's notice and their number and consistency can vary week-to-week and month-to-month.
Duties include:
- Following test scripts and methodically examining failing behaviour.
- Accurately writing reports and logging results.
- Effectively communicating issues to your team lead.
What we are looking for:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, time management and organisation.
- Ability to work as part of team with an enthusiastic attitude to the work.
- IT competency.
- Flexibility.
- Interest in games and game development.
Requirements for the role:
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must be over 18 years due to age-rating restrictions of the products tested.
- Must have experience of playing video games. This knowledge is essential for this role those who do not play video games need not apply.
- Must be based within 1 hour's commute of the work location to allow for changes made at short notice due to the ad-hoc nature of the client's work.
Please note:
- If successful, you will be added to a pool of temps who are resourced for this role. You will not be required to accept any offered shifts, but are you not guaranteed to be offered any.
- When a shift is available, you will receive a call between 1pm and 6pm the day before.
- We will require you to share your availability for the project weekly via survey and will only offer shifts to you on days you have listed yourself as available.
