**Job Title**: Certification Flex Tester

**Contract type**: Part of a pool of temporary workers in an ongoing assignment

**Hours**: Variable, ad-hoc shifts of 8 hours (8-5) offered based on your shared availability/client workload, up to 7 days a week

**Rate**: Hourly rate is the current minimum/living wage, depending on age

**Location**: Office-based - Thames Valley Park, Reading

**Start**: As soon as possible

Our client, based in Thames Valley Park near Reading, has a constant requirement for temporary workers to test video games prior to release. We are seeking to expand our pool of temps for these ad-hoc shifts as we enter the client's busiest time of yearbefore Christmas.

This a wholly office-based role as much of the client's work is confidential and must be carried out in a secure environment. As the assignment is flexible, there are no guarantee shifts, therefore you must live within a 1-hour journey of the office to allowfor last minute amendments to the workload.

Duties include:?
- Following test scripts and investigating observed behaviour.?
- Drafting reports and describing results accurately.?
- Relaying issues to your team's lead.?

What we are looking for:

- Excellent communication (written and verbal), attention to detail, time management and organisation.
- Faster learner.
- Ability to work as part of team with a positive and proactive attitude.
- IT competence, primarily experience with MS Excel and Word.
- Flexibility.?
- Interest in video games/game development.

Requirements for the role:?
- Must be available to work weekends on occasion.
- Must be 18+ due to age-rating restrictions?of the products tested.?
- Must have experience of playing video games. This knowledge is?crucial for the role.
- Must be based?within 1 hour's commute of the work location to allow for changes made at short notice.

Please note:?
- If?successful, you will be added to a pool of temps who are resourced for this role on an ad-hoc basis.
- You will not be required to accept any offered shifts, but are you not guaranteed to be offered any either.?
- Shifts will be offered to you as and when available based on with the availability you share and your training level.
