As the governing body for cricket in the historic county of Wiltshire, Wiltshire Cricket Limited (WCL) plays an important role in changing the lives of people and their communities through the sport.

We are responsible for cricket across the county, from schools, clubs, and the community, through to the National Counties Team and pathway performance teams. We provide governance and leadership for the sport to drive and support others to offer high-quality experiences for players, volunteers, and supporters to meet our vision of ‘inspiring a lifelong love and involvement in Cricket for all of Wiltshire’.

After a period of reflection and a desire to ensure we are a well-governed, sustainable organisation that is representative of the county and communities we serve, WCL is seeking to identify and appoint up to two Independent Non-Executive Directors to join the Board and play an important role in representing and upholding the interests of communities across Wiltshire during this transformational time in cricket.

This is an opportunity to inspire the next generation of cricketers and have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of people across Wiltshire.

Previous board experience is not essential, and WCL will keenly look to support and develop new members with the ambition, dedication, and talent to enable us in our goals. Experience in cricket is also not necessary, although a willingness to get to know the sport and a commitment to enable WCL’s vision is.

**Location**

Hybrid model - Wiltshire Cricket aims to hold every other Board meeting in person in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

**Time Commitment**

Minimum of 6 Board meetings per year. Wiltshire Cricket would also encourage support of a dedicated Board subgroup, as well as attendance at 1-2 major events per year.

**Term of Office**

Three years, with a maximum of three terms.

**Remuneration**

These roles will be voluntary (travel expenses and other expenses will be paid in relation to meetings and events attended).
