**HAYWARD HAWK** is proud to be working a recognised global leader in financial services in their search for a Head of Accounts Payable to join their Belfast team. This organisation has a reputation for providing back-end services to major clients including banks, insurance companies, pensions & hedge funds, asset managers, energy providers and refiners.

**The role**:
The role of the Head of Accounts Payable will be to oversee the Accounts Payable

**The Duties**

**- Manage EMEA Accounts Payable team, overseeing performance and appraisals.**

**- Ensure timely processing and payment of supplier invoices and expenses.**

**- Administer Corporate card account and month-end close process.**

**- Implement process improvements and maintain policy compliance.**

**- Provide meaningful management information and monitor governance.**

**- Ensure adherence to payment terms, VAT treatment, and government reporting.**

**The Person**
- Extensive team management experience in accounting across functions and locations.
- Proficient in high-volume invoice processing, multi-currency transactions, and strict month-end deadlines.
- Strong expertise in VAT reporting, government reporting, and KPI-driven environments.
- Track record of improving controls processes and adapting to changing requirements.
- Familiarity with financial services sector, stakeholder interaction, and tools like Excel and reporting packages
