We are looking for an experienced payroll officer to join a multi-national firm based In the Birmingham City Centre Area.

As part of the role, you will work closely with the Payroll Manager and support the payroll team in meeting monthly and annual payroll objectives.
- Have demonstratable Payroll Officer or Payroll Admin experience.
- Experience with Global payroll desirable
- Strong eye for detail and a clear communicator
- Works well In a fast paced environment
- Experienced with Excel and enjoys working with data.

An overview of the Payroll Officer role Includes:

- Responsible for controlling the end-to-end processing for entities in EMEA and APAC
- Process monthly salary changes, variable payments, and applicable deductions
- Investigate, reconcile, and correct payroll data issues, discrepancies and errors.
- Ensure accurately and timely processing of payroll with strong data integrity. Verify monthly allowances, deductions and ensure all calculations are correct.
- Collect, compile, and review data for year-end processing.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers to resolve payroll issues.
- Partner with HRSS, Treasury and Finance teams to Implement and maintain payroll best practices across the board.
- Partner closely with Finance and Tax departments to ensure tax calculations are current and accurate.
- Develop opportunities to optimize payroll processes globally and provide payroll analytics and insights to HR and other companywide stakeholders.
- Complete monthly KPIs to identify any areas of concern and report to the UK & International Payroll Manager
