**Vacancy - Planning Assistant**

**About the Role**:
**The Role**:

- Assist the Planning Manager with issuing a daily / weekly production plan.
- Liaising with the sales team to review and update the sales forecast.
- Adjust the forecast to ensure the business is operating with accurate data.
- Query forecast numbers with sales managers when necessary.
- Look for ways to improve the forecasting process and push for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with different departments including sales, operations, finance and marketing.
- Assist Procurement with the weekly running of MRP.
- Supporting members of the supply chain team in their daily roles
- Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties, as required.

**The person**:

- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A-C including Maths and English.
- High level of numeracy and able to understand trends and patterns within numbers.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise in order to meet multiple strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail, quality, consistency and accuracy.
- A strong team player with a positive “can do” outlook.
- Ability to communicate complicated and technical information in a clear and concise way and to a high standard.
- Self-motivated with a high level of drive and personal commitment with a desire to develop skills and experience.
