Costcutter are currently hiring permanent store assistants to support our in store teams. Our company owned and operated stores are across the whole of the UK and play a vital role in supporting local communities.

The purpose of this role is to deliver an enjoyable shopping experience through excellent customer service at all times. You will ensure all customers are warmly welcomed and acknowledge, respond to queues and queries and recommend productions and promotions.

To support the store operations, you will carry out freshness checks, replenish stock and check prices and promotions are correct.

You will be part of a close knit, busy team and will need to keep up to date and involved with store and community communication. You will also have the opportunity to assist and support others sharing best practice so that all colleagues contribute positively.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be customer-focused, enthusiastic and a great problem solver You will work closely and positively with other members of the team whilst also using your own initiative to ensure the store is providing an exceptional customer experience.

We have been championing independent retailers for over 30 years. We supply goods and services to independently-owned convenience stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland as well as to our company-owned estate.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: From £9.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail Shop Assistants & Till Operators: 1 year (preferred)
