Production Manager - Food Production - £40,000 to £45,000 pa
- Bainton, East Yorkshire
- Monday-Thursday
The expected responsibilities for the Production Manager include:

- Managing the food production and packing teams to ensure high levels of OTIF
- Work closely with Production Operatives across 4 departments, to ensure efficient execution of production plans and ensure maximum productivity
- Conduct one-to-one performance reviews with your 4 direct reports and ensure that all relevant training development needs are delivered
- Recruiting and developing staff to perform required duties
- Run daily Production meetings with staff on site, off the back of regular strategy meetings with the Factory Manager
- Developing and implementing new production procedures
- Striving to achieve cost reduction strategies whilst maximizing production efficiency
- Reporting into Factory Manager and provide daily, monthly and periodic reports
- Complying with all relevant Health, Safety and Security regulations
Other expected requirements will include:

- Experience working with Food Safety Standards such as SALSA/BRC
- Minimum of 2 years experience working within food manufacturing at managerial level (open to Production Supervisors looking for a step into a management positon)
- Good written and verbal communication
Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to adopt a hands-on approach.. Working 40 hours across Monday-Thursday, the company do ensure their people have a good work life balance and for all your hard work you will be paid a generous salary. Previousexperience within a food manufacturing environment is very much a preference for this business. This position will have future progression to a Factory Manager role.
The business also provide a bonus during busy period, based on performance.
