Bond Personnel have a fantastic opportunity based in the Central Wigan area. We are seeking full time FMCG **Machine Operator**s on a **permanent** basis

**Main Responsibilities/ Job Role**:

- Defined machine operation, packing, palletising, lid loading, material replenishment.
- Work as part of a small team on a busy production line.
- Carrying out process confirmation checks in line with quality, safety and product specifications.
- Clean and Inspect all work area and machinery.
- Ensuring the production lines are set to the correct standard.
- Ensure full adherence to Company Health and Safety Procedures and Practices. Conducts line safety checks in line with company procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring the area and workspace is sanitised maintained in a clean and tidy manner.
- Challenging waste and escalating where appropriate

**Working Hours**:

- 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
- This includes 2 x 12 hour AM shifts and 2 x 12 hour PM shifts, then 4 days off.
- Days: 7am - 7pm
- Nights: 7pm - 7am

**Both days and nights are essential.**

- Previous Manufacturing & Packaging Industry experience
- Experience within FMCG industries - (fast-moving manufacturing.)
- Have recent experience of working within food, beverages or toiletries manufacturing in either a production or machine-operating role. 2-3 years is ideal, but a minimum of 1-year experience.
- At least 1-year Machine Operating experience is required.
- Good English & Maths necessary in this role

You will:
- Be able to demonstrate numeracy, literacy, and you will be tested on this at interview stage.
- Be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Have the ability to document factual information into written and electronic format. PC skills are a benefit.

**Benefits**
- The starting pay rate is £11.50 per hour for 42 hours per week or £25,200.52 salary per annum.
- After 12 weeks and successful completion of your training, your new rate would be £11.85 per hour, or £25,967.50 per annum.
