We are currently looking to recruit a **Machine Operative role within our High Care**, to join our team at Agrial Fresh Produce in Wigan.

**Pay: £12.10**

Working hours**:Various shift patterns, 5 over 7, Late Shift.**

**Main Responsibilities**
- To work with speed and efficiency whilst ensuring product is of a high quality and that customer orders are met and are right first time.
- To follow Zone Manager/Leader instructions advice and guidance to meet daily targets.
- To work towards minimising waste levels within the department.
- To follow all company policies and procedures including those relating to Health and Safety and Food Safety.

**Skills and Experience Required**

**Qualifications**
- To have GCSE in Maths and English
- Preferred to have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

**Knowledge and Experience**
- To have worked in a chilled environment.
- To have 1 years experience in Manufacturing
- To have 1 years experience in the food industry

**Skills**
- To be able to carryout instructions
- To have a basic written and spoken understanding of English
- To be able to carryout repetitive and routine tasks
- To be able to quality check produce

**Core Requirements**
- To understand and be able to interpret Health and Safety Requirements

- To ensure that wastage is kept to the minimum for the department.

Our Wigan site is a well-established business unit that processes and distributes pre-packed, ready to eat, fresh salad bags and bowls to some of the UK's well-known retailers and restaurants. We are based on Martland Park Industrial Estate, which is ideal for travel on the M61, M6 and M62.
