**Lamination Machine Operator/Setter**

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Lamination Machine Operator/Setter based in Wigan.

The hours of work will be 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm on a weekly rotational basis. Hourly pay will be £12.12 based on a 37.5-hour week. A discretionary bonus of 5.5% is paid (£1299.87). This means a total package circa £23,634.00 pa. (£24,934 inc. bonus).

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding manufacturing business within the insulated glass industry.

**Role Requirements**
- Proficient in English. GCSE’s or equivalent qualifications including Maths and English. NVQ Level 2 in Performing Manufacturing operations or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
- Applicants must also have at least one year’s experience in operating factory machinery.
- Detail orientated.
- Team player helping other operators to achieve production objectives.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of laminating process.
- At least one years’ experience in operating factory machinery.
- Good communication skills.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Set-up and operate Lamination machine and work with assigned personnel.
- Maintain high efficiency on set-up & production.
- Perform quality checks during the process.
- Ability to identify the quality issues and make an adjustment of the lamination machine to ensure the quality standards.
- Focus on continuous improvement and productivity through teamwork.
- Written production documentation.
