A Market Leading events company is seeking a Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager to join their Research and Development division and help shape the future product mix for events.

This is initially a selling role but the goal is to grow a sales team out with you at the lead. You will be working directly with the MD of the business unit.
The overall purpose of the role is to generate new business and explore new topics and market segments, identifying repeatable events we can grow into the future.
**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Identify disruptive forces helping to shape tomorrow's economy
- Develop events
- Relationship build and network to grow communities in new and exciting industries
- Manage a portfolio of conferences
- Generate new business
- Create value proposition
- Effectively mapping the market
- Connecting with key decision makers
- Identify business needs
**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- 2 years+ commercial experience within a B2B sales role
- Genuine interest in new tech and current affairs
- Demonstrable experience of winning new business
- Solutions focused
- Consultative selling experience
- Self-starter
- Experience taking new products to market
**Package**:

- £60k basic and £120+ OTE (uncapped)
