**JOB BRIEF**

Based within the UK traffic planning department working closely with the planning department in our Holland depot. The main role will be to effectively communicate information between both planning departments regarding ferry bookings, customs entry’s and confirming all deliveries have the relevant documentation with regards to customs.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Confident IT skills and proficient in both excel and outlook programmes.
- Ability to follow processes effectively in a number of different software programmes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work both as a team and to work on your own initiative when required.
- Excellent time keeping skills.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Enter customers order requirements in to the Transpas system.
- The organising of customs declaration, collating customs information and sending to the appropriate parties in order to make the declarations.
- Effective communication with customs to obtain all relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with drivers relaying information to ensure they acquire the correct documentation, and solving any issues which may arise.
- The uploading of relevant information into the Transpas system and Ferry booking portals.
- Answer phone calls to ensure effective customer service.
- Make sure any issues are communicated to your line manager.
- Comply with company PPE policies.
- Adhere at all times to company policies and procedures, especially Health and Safety.
- Attend any essential training in order to carry out the job role.

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (required)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Transportation management systems: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Work Location: In person
