As an **HR & Payroll Helpdesk Assistant**, you’ll provide first line support to customers across our HR and payroll services, ensuring queries are handled promptly, accurately and with care. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining data integrity, supporting smooth pay runs and delivering excellent customer service that reflects HR Connects high standards.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Ensure employees receive the correct documentation and are paid accurately and on time.
- Retrieve data and provide advice or solutions to resolve queries efficiently.
- Accurately update and maintain HR and payroll data across systems and personnel files.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience working in a HR or payroll environment.
- Good understanding of HR/payroll processes and employment legislation.
- High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
- Confident IT user with experience in MS Office and HR/payroll systems (e.g. Oracle, iTrent)
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
