Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Assistant to work within their client's HR team, on a fixed-term basis for maternity cover. This role can be worked part-time, or full-time, as outlined below.
Part-time hours:

- Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm
- 27.5 hours per week
- A salary of £18,333 per annum
Full-time hours:

- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
- 37.5 hours per week
- A salary of £25,000 per annum
Job summary:
Key tasks:

- To be highly organised and able to prioritise your workload
- To prepare and post job ads online (company website, job boards and internally)
- Working with Department and Hiring Managers to identify recruitment gaps and provide an effective strategy and support to solve these
- Prepare Offer Letters and Co-Ordinate Orientation/Training Agendas
- Greet and assist interviewees onsite
- Process background checks and compliance checks as necessary
- Ensure Compliance is Audit Ready at ALL times
- Handle records and paperwork
- Resolve issues as fast as possible (e.g. interview/induction cancellations, transport issues)
- Manage Turnover and Leavers Files
- Manage Company Transport (number of people using the service, costs)
- Manage Agency Sign In Sheets
- New Hire Onboarding (compliance, obtaining personal and company documents)
- To support delivery of inductions and onboarding (holiday cover)
Essential Qualifications:

- CIPD fully / partially qualified or working toward it would be advantageous but not essential
- Proficient in MS Office
Essential Experience:

- Proven experience as Recruitment Assistant or other recruiting-related role
- Proven Recruitment experience for High Volume Manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)
- Previous experience providing Induction or Training to new employees
- Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Confident & Outgoing
